Nerds have problems. They get picked on, they don’t get picked for sports, and they get a hard time from most people.
Some people change, but some nerds are nerds forever. We’re the forever kind.
The first time we saw numbers, we fell in love. While other kids were more worried about football and girls, we were thinking about solving math problems.
That might sound weird, but it’s not to us. We hope you’re doing what you love and earning what you deserve. The truth is that people are drawn to different things for different reasons, and nobody really understands why.
What we do understand is the difference between just OK and great. If we were just doing accounting to pay the bills, there wouldn’t be anything wrong with that, but that means we would be just OK.
Sometimes you get to do what you love for work, and that’s the stuff great is made of. We don’t sigh every time we prepare a tax return or teach something we’ve explained a thousand times.
We smile.
To us, working with numbers and solving math problems is exactly what we want to be doing. We already have our dream job, so all we have to focus on is doing a great job for you.
When the new tax laws and annual changes come out, we can’t wait to get our hands on them. We don’t see pages and pages of complicated nonsense; we see an opportunity to get better.
Those new laws and changes could very well mean lower tax bills for our customers. Those savings might be the difference between expanding, buying new equipment, or going on vacation.
The stakes are high.
Don’t take any of this stuff at face value. Question all of it. There’s so much marketing hype out there that it’s impossible to know what’s real and what’s a complete waste of time.
But here’s something you can believe. When clients switch to us, they don’t leave. They stay. They thank us. They send us cards on holidays. They smile.
